Meant to ask when saw you last
How things were but not a chance
Writing now to let you know
Like to see your special glow

Got a minute please drop by
Friends like you in short supply
Love to share a cup or two
Maybe have a laugh with you

Time it seems just goes by fast
Let's take some time to make it last
Want to share a cup of tea
Two lumps of sugar maybe three

Come on over sit a spell
I really have so much to tell
Love to have you next to me
You are such good company

See you when the time is right
Doesn't matter day or night
What great friends we'll always be
Sharing more than cup of tea.
